Apartments Amalfi Coast

Any recommendations for a good apartment rental agency for the Amalfi Coast? Preferably in Sorrento or Positano for one week in summer.
Or perhaps an apartment recommendation from someone who has stayed and liked. Thank you in advance.

We stayed in this apartment for a week in September 2016. It was reasonable with a perfect location and the view from the balcony was amazing. We found Positano to be a great base for the Amalfi Coast. Here is the link: https://www.summerinitaly.com/holiday-home/casa-niobe

There are other options on the Summer in Italy website and they are very easy to work with.

While this answer does not answer your question about the Amalfi Coast ; is more of an observation.
It appears to me the apartment rental agency business has switched over to Airbnb and VRBO ; Homeaway is the same as VRBO.
These sites have listings from individual owners as well as rental agencies and B&B's.
It would be odd for a rental agencies listings not be on at least one of these sites.

You could stick with one agency and see what availability they have:
But if you are interested in renting an apartment and have not looked at Airbnb and VRBO ; which both have property reviews for each rental unit - then you are doing yourself a dis-service.

PS: StMurray's recommended place looks amazing for the price!!! Not sure for your family of 4 it would work size wise but maybe.

As far as best town to stay, I would say that is a personal preference type question and you will hear different opinions.

Most on this board recommend Sorrento. I have stayed in Sorrento and Positano and greatly prefer Positano and will be returning to Positano for future stays.

If for no other reason than I believe for my wife Positano is the most beautiful place in the world. Not sure I share as high a regard for it but it is up there for me as well.
There are logistical benefits to staying in Sorrento that I don't think anyone can argue.
I think there are some benefits to staying in a place where the majority of travelers only day trip to like Positano but that is also my general feeling of many different towns/areas in Italy.
Have only stayed in hotels before but would look at apartments next time, would want to be right in town though not a little down the road from town or too high up that we couldn't walk to the beach/dock, for Positano which is very small and condensed that makes a big difference in my opinion for both convenience and the overall feel. Is less of a difference in Sorrento which is a spread out larger town and may find your best views are in the bluffs above Sorrento rather than right in town.

The apartment I recommended had one bedroom with a queen bed and an area off of the living/dining room with two twin beds. This area was curtained off for additional privacy. The kitchen and bathroom were very comfortable and there is a washer and a fixed clothes line on the balcony that dried our laundry very quickly. The owner lives below and was very pleasant and helpful.
