We are going to be spending about 10 days on Florence and need to rent an apartment at an affordable price that will accept PayPal payments for the entire rental amount. There are 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 children the dates are June 18-June 28. Does anyone have any recommendations or contacts? We would prefer something near Palazzo Vecchio, Il Duomo or Santa Croce as those areas we are familiar with. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks!
Try VRBO. I just booked a apt. through them for Sept. Last year I used Flip-key for Florence. Both very easy to use. You could peruse apts and save to a favorites list until you decide which you would like to rent. This way you could save the apts in the neighborhoods you favor and have them all in one place.
Use the filters for your search, re: # of guests, bedrms, etc. Good luck!

Though it's not in the areas you mentioned, it seems convenient, and the apartments are spacious and some open onto a garden. Look especially at the Domus for your group.

We stayed in a very nice 2 bed 2 bath apartment in Santa Croce neighborhood. VRBO 68776. Spacious first floor with a little garden in the back which we enjoyed. About 6 blocks to the city center. We paid 1400eu a week.

We have booked an apartment in Florence for 6 of us. It's very near the Duomo. We won't be there until Sept. so I can't speak to the specifics, but the process for booking has certainly been easy. And it came with great recommendations.
