I am interested in finding an apartment for a week in a non-touristy hilltown, and it seems like Volterra might be the perfect place. However, no matter how much I search, I cannot find any apartments to rent in town. There seems to be lots of options outside of town, which I know would be lovely too, but I'm thinking it would be great to wake up each morning and just be able to wander the town and feel at home. Any suggestions? Or do you know of a great apartment in a similar hilltown?
