Ciao Tutti-We are looking to rent an apratment with 3 bedrooms-2-3 baths would be fabulous-we have had no luck and thought perhaps someone had some ' inside" information -we have checked many of the online sites-lots have been rented already-we need it for 3 weeks starting April 27 2012-central city as we are walking everywhere

No inside information, but just a suggestion that you might consider a 2bedroom apartment with sofa bed in the LR. The availability chart on Www.apartments-Florence-Italy.com came up with several pages of apartments available in your time frame, but it looked like all 2bdr. Ones. Windows on Italy ( www.windowsonItaly.com) shows just one, also a two bedroom with pull-out bed in the LR. The apartment is named Fantasia and looks lovely on the website. It it very well-located, on Piazza Signoria which is about as central you can get for walking to major sites.

Ooops---sorry about that. Yes, the Fantasia apartment in in Florence, on Piazza Signoria. The website is Windows on Italy. I must have had Venice on my mind when I typed. I' go back and correct that.

You might find 2 bathrooms, but 3 is rare in Florence - people just don't have that kind of space. Also for 3 and 3 you are talking a decent amount of money - do you have a specific budget in mind? I would bypass the suggested sites mentioned and go straight to the owners site for Fantasia: http://palazzouguccioni.com/ Also Tuscany Rent Direct has a lot of apartments in Florence http://bit.ly/vPKV0V You may also want to try sites like Home Away and VRBO -
