apartment for a week or two in verona?

I think we have decided to stay in Verona for a week or two in late may or early june, and we are now in the process of looking for place to stay. We would like an apartment ratehr than a hotel, to help us feel settled in to the town. These are our needs: bright, clean (especially the bathroom), 1 bedroom is big enough, an elevator if the space is on a higher floor, air conditioning, location close enough to the center of things, but not too noisy, etc. I have bben searching vrbo, venere, cross-polinate, homeaway, and are finding very few options. We are hoping to keep our budget at about $100/night. Any thoughts?
