I'm drawn to this little place and would like to book but I'm wondering how far of a walk to the main square etc. or any other tips about what room you stayed in.

Vernazza is quite small. Elisabetta's rooms are only about 5 minutes from the main square, but up a lot of stairs. Haven't stayed there, but walked by them on the way to the Vernazza-Corniglia trail. I think others have previously commented on the rooms, so try a search of past postings (search box is at top right of this page).
