Anyone spent NYE in Turin / Torino recently?

Hi there, we've planning a trip to Turin and are looking for ideas & insights from people who've spent the week between Christmas & NY in Turin. (January 1st we will likely move on to Milan for a few nights.) As we will be coming from Sweden, we just not worried about 'bad weather' south of the Alps, it will just be nice to have more daylight!

What's our style of travel and what's important to us?

Quality museums (before 1920's) with an emphasis on ancient civilizations.
Great food, but we're not foodies - Specific restaurant recommendations always welcome!
Ease of staying out of big crowds gathering on NYE, when we will hide out in our hotel anyway!
No interest in nightlife.

Here's our original post looking for options, and thanks to everyone who replied to that thread, I've taken copious notes for future travels! https://community.ricksteves.com/travel-forum/general-europe/looking-for-less-crowded-city-over-nye-2025-2026
