We were thinking about spending a day and night in Ostia, and were wondering if any of you have any tips for good hotel or bed and breakfast. We're a family of four (2 adults, 9 and 11 year olds).
Thanks, Scott
Looks like you're not getting any answers, that is probably because most of us disciples of Rick sleep in Rome or occasionally in a Fiumicino airport hotel but not in Ostia. Here is what you can do: go to the www.viamichelin.com website, specify Italy and 00119 Ostia Antica, and then click the hotel box in search. It will give you about 30 hotels in the Ostia area, click sort by distance. It gives some information about each one and you can click and go to the website of each one.

Ciao,

For a rather unique agriturismo experience, stay at the historic Rodrigo de Vivar, which is convenient to central Rome, the ruins, beach and airport. It's a great place to stay with kids.
