If anyone is going to Rome and wondering about a nice place to stay, then I humbly recommend the Hotel Lancelot. We chose this out of the RS 2011 Italy guidebook and couldn't be happier with what we got. It's a 3 star hotel with lovely, bright, clean rooms and perfectly situated with regard to buses, metro, Colosseum, etc. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make you feel at home. If we ever return to Rome, we will definitely stay here again!

Maria: We will be in Rome for 2 days in late September. We will be arriving via train from Venice and then heading to the airport 2 days later. Do you know how close to the train station the Hotel Lancelot is and approximately how far from the airport. I am also trying to work out travel transfers without breaking the bank!! Thanks for your input. C
