Anyone have experience with toursintuscany.com for a private daytrip?

We're looking to do a private day trip (two of us) from Florence to Siena and San Gimignano and were looking at toursintuscany.com - I thought I'd read about them on this forum but didn't find any mention when I searched today. Does anyone have any experience with this company?

Hi Jeff,
About two weeks ago on the RS Travel Fest evening zoom programs, which are on youtube now, Rick's Tuscany co host was one of his guides named Anna. After watching the show, I looked at her website. She had some links to services in Tuscany that she recommends. One of those links was to toursintuscany.com. I am going to Florence with a group of three in April. We were interested in doing a daytrip to Siena and Sam Gimignano and exploring our options. I saw that they offered this particular itinerary, in which you are also interested. I contacted them as well as two other private driver daytrip companies and we decided to go with toursintuscany.com. We are booked for this daytrip in April, private driver, pickup and drop off at our Firenze hotel. Visit to Siena with a two hour walking guided tour (which cost an additional fee). From there we go to San Gimignano and then back to Firenze. We opted not to do a winery visit/ lunch. Communication with company was easy and prompt. We paid a deposit online to confirm our reservation. It was not the cheapest daytrip offered but we are hoping it is worth it based on the quality of the guide and driver and Anna's recommendation. When are you going? The other tour company we seriously considered is tuscanyexperiencetours.com. They offer a similar daytrip. After I complete the daytrip I can give you feedback.

Hi Pat - Thanks for all the information!

We're going to Florence May 15-21, and one of those days is slated for a daytrip to Tuscany. Right now we're looking at the exact same plan that you've described. We thought about adding the lunch / wine tasting, but we thought the cost was excessive. The guide also seems pricey - 180 Euro for a two hour tour - but we plan to go ahead with that one.

I'm very interested in your thoughts on your experience in April. I'll have to pay the nonrefundable deposit well before then but it will be interesting to get your feedback on the experience.
