Is it doable checking out of hotel in Tivoli and getting to airport the same day? What would be the best transportation, Or should we go back to Rome first?

I see “FCO airport” in the title of the post. But as joe32F asks, when is your flight? And from FCO, where are you flying? Is the flight to a connecting airport?
Are you looking for an alternative to going from Tivoli to the Termini station in Rome, then taking the Leonardo Express train to FCO?

Tivoli is 70Km far from the airport... not so far!
By train is around one hour and half. By car depends by the traffic, but probably not less than one hour but neither more than 2 hours.
Ask to your hotel to book a NCC (car-with-driver) and will be easy go to the airport at any time.

Thanks! I booked an Airbnb so we will probably have to do the train, but I may switch to a hotel because it seems we’ll need to fill out a bunch of forms for the airlines and the Covid test, so Wi-Fi might be a problem. Guess we’ll see how it is closer to the date, hopefully things calm down.
