Anyone get CDs of guitarist Tadeusz Machalski in Venice?

Hello Jeff,

We too saw Tadeusz Machalski in Venice and bought one of his CD's. We have been very pleased with it - as you said, his playing is beautiful, and we would like to find out if he has made any more CD's, and have, therefore, sent him an e-mail today.

If we hear from him, or find out any other place where we can obtain his CD's I will let you know.

that sounds great. He has a second CD, a second collection of songs that he's selling. If you look at the photo I linked to above, you'll see both CDs on the music stand. I just wish I hadn't let my wife talk me out of buying them in Venice!

I'm literally trying to find someone who will be in the same city he's in and get them to buy the CDs for me, that's how much I want to get them!

Speaking of Florence, I bought a CD from Mercer & Peres when I was there two years. They are the couple that perform outside of the Uffizi most nights. It's a great CD and a nice memory of music in Florence.

We heard street musicians in Florence, Venice and Rome - they were really very good. A variety of music genres as well.

Machalski was in Venice on the Rialto . . . we heard a small group in Florence's Piazza Della Republica . . . For Rome, in the Piazza Navona, a guy on electric guitar played outside the restaurants. He'd play for awhile at one, then move on to the next, etc. People really enjoyed him. I can keep an eye out for this gentleman and his guitar tomorrow in Venice. :)

Hi Marie - there are several listings for Tadeusz Machalski on the web but they lead to Ebay/Amazon (which don't have any of his music) or some music download site in the Ukraine . . . my bank wouldn't even let me use my credit card at that site so I'm guessing it's been blacklisted.

We just got back from Florence and Tadeusz was playing in the Piazza del Ufizi and we bought his CD. Have you been able to acquire it? After 2 years the only sites that come up are questionable at best. I wish he had a web site so I could order more.

oh man! I'd given up hope . . . no, we haven't found any of his stuff at all. As you say, to buy his music online you have to go to questionable sites in Romania and the Ukraine. Please, send me a PM!

I know it's an old topic, but in case you never found him, this should help. I JUST heard him on the street in Florence at Piazza DiSignoria...... He is unbelievable.....
