Apologies if this is a silly question but not being Catholic (or religious at all for that matter) I don't really know much about this stuff. I work with UW student-athletes and we're planning our 3rd study abroad trip to Rome next June. I see that there is a "Jubilee of Sport" but I can't find any information about what this actually entails. Does anyone know? Trying to figure out if it's worth us making an extra effort to attend, if it's something the students would enjoy.
2025 is the Pope's Jubilee, which involves multitudes of activities , and will bring increased number of visitors and pilgrims into the area. Have a great trip.

Yes, sorry it seems like my post wasn't clear--I know what the Jubilee is, I'm asking specifically about the "Jubilee of Sport" that is scheduled for two days in mid-June. I can't find any information about what that specific event entails.
The only thing that I could find specific to Jubilee of Sport was this

I think it sounds like a special pilgrimage vs. a sports celebration but I could be wrong. Probably only meaningful to Catholic student-athletes and then only some of those.
Interested parties who wish to be part of this SSH Jubilee of Sport pilgrimage to The Vatican in June of 2025 should contact SSH Foundation CEO, Mr. Philip Leopold via [email protected].
