Anyone ever stayed at the Civita di Bagnoregio?

I have seen incredible pictures of this place (the dying city?) and even tried to get a reservation there online but was never replied to after I had sent a request to them. Anyone got any info on this place?

Jane, Which place in Civita were you trying to book accommodations? I'd suggest trying again, and if that doesn't work perhaps give them a call. If you were trying to book one of the rooms at Trattioria Antico Forno, Franco (the owner) speaks excellent English. If you're unsuccessful with that, you could also consider staying in Bagnoregio, as it's only a short shuttle ride to the bridge at Civita. Happy travels!
