Anyone been to Vinci?

We will be seeing the Museum of Art and Science in Milan, and then we are headed to the CT. On the way to Florence from CT, we were wondering if it's worth the stop in Vinci to see things related to LdV, or if it's more important to get to Florence to start that part of the trip (3 nights in Florence).

I loved Vinci, especially LdV museum--fascinating how many discoveries he had, plus it's a pretty town.

I agree with Elaine, Vinci is a nice small town, and the museum is very interesting I tought it was worth it.
