We're in Venice right now and wondering if it's worthwhile to make the vaporetto trek over to Chioggia. Has anyone been out there?
Thanks,
Merrill

It's like a simpler, working class (without the sumptuous palaces) Venice without the tourists.
Chioggia is very nice with canals and restaurants and a nice atmosphere, but not many monuments. I would stay there and visit Venice, but not the other way around.
