I have 2 different places booked .... CA' Dogaressa and a Bed And Breakfast called La Villeggiatura .....Has anybody stayed there and could you give me your opinions? I'm booked May 15 thru 18

I haven't stayed but just found some glowing reports about La Villeggiatura in the NY Times and on other websites. I am planning on contacting them and staying in Oct. I am curious about the $$. Please let me know if you do decide to stay and how it is (I won't be there until end of Oct.) Thanks...have a great time

The CA' Dogaressa is rated No. 5 out of 379 hotels on www.tripadvisor.com. Hotels are rated by travelers.
La Villeggiatura is rated No. 58 out of 288 B&Bs in Venice. I was looking at some really nice reviews. CLICK HERE to see for yourself.

My husband and I have stayed at CA'Dogaressa on two different trips to Venice. We stayed in the Jr. Suite, which looks out over the Canareggio Canal.
We highly recommend this hotel. It is small, friendly, extremely clean and nicely furnished. Everything was exactly as they told us. We loved looking out over the canal, but also liked the fact that it gets quiet at night, because it's in a more residential area. Danielle at reception was extremely helpful with everything that we asked.
It is not close to St. Mark's but that's why we liked it. It is close to 2 vaporetto stops, and easy to get to the train station. Have a great time.
