Any suggestions for hotels in Florence

Would like to spend three to four days in Florence next Fall and find a lovely boutique hotel that is well located and reasonably prices.
Is that possible do you think?

You may recognize the front facade since Rick uses the plaza in front as a site of many of his stand-up intro pieces about Florence (and Art).

We love it and have been several times. Once our bathroom window looked out over the Duomo. Not the usual view for Florentine toiletten.

I usually stay at small boutique hotels in Europe. I’m going to share where we stayed in Florence last time on the chance that you might like it - not exactly a boutique hotel but a fantastic room & location! Relais Piazza Signora. Our room had two sets of tall windows with views of Piazza Signora, and we could see the outdoor David statue from one window. Very comfortable beds and a small table. It’s so handy for early admission to the Uffizi gallery. We took a taxi from the train station, but we just walked when we caught the train to head south.

We were booked at this hotel but unfortunately had to cancel so no first hand experience.
We ended up staying somewhere different on our rescheduled trip but next trip to Florence I'd like to stay here:

Hotel de la Ville

We stayed at this hotel in 2014 and enjoyed it very much
Hotel Calzaiuoli

It's had a major renovation since then, it was very nice 8 years ago so it could only be nicer now.

We stayed at Hotel David in October of 2019 and loved it! Easy to get on a bus or take a taxi to wherever you want to go. The included breakfasts are very good and the heavy appetizers and complimentary wines at night are perfect. We “ate in” 2 of our 4 nights. I highly recommend this boutique hotel.

We enjoyed staying at Hotel Albani in Florence. The location is great - on a side street yet an easy walk from the train station with luggage, as well as walkable to the Duomo, Accademia, Ponte Vecchio, and Uffizi Gallery. We reserved a room on an upper floor with a balcony onto the courtyard. The breakfast at Hotel Albani was wonderful!

We really liked the Hotel Davanzati (this was about 4 years ago). It is a great location, walking distance to everything. They have 19 rooms. They even went to find a plug adaptor for me when I couldn't find mine---just really nice people. They do have about 25 steps up from the street level to the lobby, but then they have an elevator. It is next to the Davanzati Museum, which is supposedly the oldest Florentine house. Nice little happy hour in the evening with prosecco. I would stay there again without a doubt.

Hotel Alessandra, concierge Monti is simply the best but everyone is warm and welcoming. Good location and quiet for being near some of the nightlife. If you stay there check out Pruneti olive oil a few steps away; we ended up taking some home with us. A few doors down Osteria Cacio Vino Trallallà is great spot if you’ve had a long day and don’t want to walk far to dinner.

I stayed at the Hotel Torre Guelfa with a Rick Steves Tour Group last fall. It had a good location, but it's facade is very understated and it can be hard to find at night. I counted the stairs up to my room, 69 total and there were floors above. There is a small lift.

This hotel was ok, so I mention it, but if I were to return to Florence, I would probably look elsewhere.
