Is anyone aware of similar forums for travel questions related to the US? We plan to travel within the country this summer (given the astronomically high air fares to Europe) and would find it very useful if there is a similar forum. Many thanks!

The Tripadvisor forums are divided into states for the US and provinces for Canada. The states are further divided into cities and national parks within that state. The people who post are very helpful and you can get very specific help, although yiy mat have to post on several boards.

All guide books maintain travel forums - Fodors, Frommers, etc. Just check in with them. Fodors is by states and some subjects.
