I'd rather have trip reviews from fellow Rick fans than anything possibly professional biased or slammed on TripAdvisor.. has anyone tried out the Hotel Napoleon in Rome, in between the Termini and Colosseum? I guess it's literally across the street from the Vittorio Emanuele Metro station. thanks..

There are many "RickAdvisors" who are also avid and dependable TripAdvisors...including myself. I have several reviews on Tripadvisor specifically for Hotel Napoleon which are all excellent. RS may be a simpler website to use, but TripAdvisor contains an exhaustive database of reviews that includes travelers from all over the world. TA is my goto source for travel information and especially for hotel reviews.

Or check reviews on booking.com. You can only post on that one if you've actually stayed at an accommodation booked through them (they send you a link after your reservation dates) so they're pretty reliable:
