Any personal experience with Reidenza Giotto vs Residenza Il Villino

We seem to have gotten our reservations for Florence at the end of August down to between these two hotels. Wondering if anyone has any personal experience of either, both seem excellent, which is probably what makes making a choice so hard. Specifically we're trying to guage noise levels (at night when we might be trying to sleep), cleanlieness (specifically rooms and bathrooms)

I have stayed at Residenza Il Villino (and will be staying there again in Sept) and I can't imagine a better place in Florence. I am a clean freak and I found the place to be very very clean. The rooms seems to be offset from the street and we had no street noise.
The family that runs the place is so wonderful, I really was sad to leave and I can't wait to go back this year.

Residenza Il Villino is the best!! Lorenzo, Lisbetta and Sergio are so incredibly welcoming. Noise levels were fine (except other guests stomping up the stairs in the morning). The room was very clean and comfortable. Oh please take me with you! :)

My wife and I stayed at Residenza Il Villino earlier this month. It was great. Sergio and Lorenzo made us feel like part of the family. The location was great. The room was spacious and clean. And, the room had real charm. Also, Il Villino was a great value. We will definitely stay here again. Our room was quite other than some noise from the stairs. We were on the ground floor close to the courtyard so we may have had more guest traffic noise.
