My son 22 year old, just graduate college, and I are in Tuscany Italy. want to have a one day trip to Siena after two days exploring Florence, and before going to Rome. Any body has suggestions of where to stay just one night and relax. mid ranged price. Thanks

We just stayed at Hotel Italia in Siena last month. It worked fine for us. We had a triple room which could have used some updating but hotel itself was fine. Great breakfast. Pleasant and friendly staff and receptionists. It is a direct walk into the center of the city and to the Piazza del Campo but it is about a mile's distance and took about twenty minutes to get there. There are buses right in front of hotel into the city center but we just walked.
