Any one has suggestions of one day and night trip to Siena from Florence?l

My son 22 year old, just graduate college, and I are in Tuscany Italy. want to have a one day trip to Siena after two days exploring Florence, and before going to Rome. Any body has suggestions of where to stay just one night and relax. mid ranged price. Thanks
