Any ideas to fill in 5 or 6 nights after Amalfi Coast and Cinq Terre.

There are so many places to see but nothing in particular is really standing out. Spent only 2 nights in Venice which we love and had to leave early because of a train strike 10 years ago and Barcelona, also loved the 3 nights there but didn;t see everyhing. Not really sure since we're from New Zealand and its a long way, if we'll ever get back whether we should go back there or if other people have places they just loved and could recommend. Are finishing with a week in Paris and some day trips.
Would really appreciate any ideas. Thanks.

So your trip is how many nights total in Europe ?
Fly in to?
Out of Paris ?
Number of nights in CT and AC ?
Where else have you been to in Italy, besides 2 nights in Venice ?

Right. It would help to know where you've been before aside from Venice.

Based on previous posts, It looks like you're flying from Naples to Genoa, after the the Amalfi, and going to Vernazza from there. From where are you leaving (flying?) to Paris or don't you know yet?

After Cinq Terre we've got a gap of 6 or 7 night s before we head to UK and Scotland. We've been to Barcelona for 3 nights previously and loved it. We're flying out of Paris home to to New Zealand and having 4 nights there beforehand, had 5 nights there 10 years ago and loved it and are deciding whether to train or drive the Champagne area probably for 4 or 5 days.before Paris and perhaps basing ourselves at one of the places. Just love the villages which you don't get to see in the train though it's much easier and quicker to train to Reims or Strasbourg for example. Last time we drone for 10 days to Nice, and took night train to Venice.
So its just the gap after Amalfi Cost and Cinq Terre and before the UK, that we're trying to fit in, 6 or maybe 7 nights.
Any suggestions would be welcome. I've looked at so many countries and the only one that is a possibility is maybe the Netherlands for a few days, though not really sure!
Any suggestions much appreciated from people who are well travelled!
