We will be in Venice from 12/22-12/26, and I'm worried there will be nothing open for Christmas Eve and Day, any suggestions?

Five days in Venice is a pretty long time to spend in Venice. Have you been before? I absolutely love Venice but there is not much to do after you have seen St. Marks Square and taken a gondola ride. I would think that on christmas eve and christmas day most places would be closed (especially stores and restaurants). I would suggest contacting the place you are staying and ask them what you could do. Anyway, have fun and Merry Christmas!

Carol, I suspect you already know that there is a Christmas Market in Vence up through Dec 24.

Your hotel will likely have their restaurant open (mine does, but I leave for home on Dec 23).
