Mardi,

In 2008 I stayed at the Hotel Corso in Orvieto. I found this place on venere.com. The place was nice and the staff very accommodating. I would stay there again.

Buon viaggio,

We also stayed at Hotel Corso (in RS Guidebook) and liked it--would stay there again. Clean, comfortable bed, quiet, and nice staff.

We really like the Hotel Duomo and would definitely stay there again. Can't beat the location.

mardi,

Another vote for /www.hotelcorso.net/eng/default.htm in Orvieto. I stayed there on my last trip, and found that it was very comfortable, the staff were fantastic and it was in a great location (easy walking distance from both the Funicular and main sites in the city).

Happy travels!

We stayed at Casa Flavia in early July and loved it. It is an apartment right off the main street in Orvieto. Very close to shopping an restaurants, large and fairly inexpensive. Contact Roberta about availability.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Valentino. Check it out at http://www.valentinohotel.com/eng.html Their rooms were very modern with a small frig (for our Orvieto Classico wine) and a/c. Their breakfast buffet was great with unlimited cappuccinos! Have fun!

We stayed at Casa Flavia too, in May 2008.
It's a beautiful superclean apartment , and it had everything you could possibly need.
It could sleep 5.
The owner is delightful, and picked us up at the funicular station in her car, on our arrival.

Yet another vote for both the Hotel Corso and (a little more upscale), the Hotel Duomo.
