We've booked 3 nights at Alloggi Barbaria in Venice per Rick's book. Does anybody have any feedback? We want to stay in a neighborhood area, away from the hustle, it sounds good. Last time in Venice we stayed in a recommended place, but it was so tiny we could barely turn around in the room.

We stayed at Alloggi Barbaria 2 summers ago with our daughter and son-in-law and 2 grandsons. It is very out of the way and in a nice neighborhood. The rooms were very large and roomy. We had 2 three person rooms and loved all the space we had. The air-conditioning was great and the bathrooms were really large. We were surprised at the spaciousness of our rooms. It was very affordable and Georgio and Fausto sent us to great neighborhood restaurants and gave good advise for touring. Nothing fancy, but very safe and clean.
