Any experience with the Omnia Vatican & Rome card?

I tried to make reservations for seeing the Vatican. No luck. My hotel suggested the Omnia Vatican card which will give access to all Vatican sites, plus it is the Roma Pass, so we will not have to stand in line at some other sites.
Has anyone used this?

Is there a different way to skip lines??
We leave for Rome Monday, so I need some help!
Thanks!

What do you mean by "seeing the Vatican"? St Peter's Basilica is free to all and no reservations are possible. There will be a security check and that tends to come with long lines but there is no way to skip it (you wouldn't want to, I bet) and then it is open entry.

The Vatican Museums are always busy but there are ways to improve your chances of enjoying the crush. Lots of good tips can be found at the wonderful Ron in Rome website here - http://www.roninrome.com/sites-attractions/the-vatican

You can't "see the Vatican". You can see certain areas of the Vatican but there is no ticket that gives you access to all of the Vatican. With that being said, the omnia pass is a huge waste of money. there is simply no way to visit enough sites covered by that pass to recoup the 95 euros the pass costs.

For visiting the Vatican museums you can book entry tickets or a tour directly through the Vatican website. Both a tour or entry tickets will allow you to bypass the line and go straight to the security check point. The basilica is free to enter you just need to go through the security line. There's no way to avoid this unless you take a tour of the museums which allows you to use a bypass door with a more direct route to the basilica.

You can buy the romapass yourself and use it as you like. There are multiple places you can pick one up while in the city.

If you book a tour of the Vatican museums and buy a romapass you'll spend 68 euros. More than that, you can book your Vatican day outside the three days of the romapass. So if you'll use the pass on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday you can visit the Vatican on thursday or Friday and not have to squeeze everything into three short days.
