I remember reading a post which had rick steves coupon codes on various tour companies like walksofitaly, citywonders, through eternity etc. can someone please post the discount codes. Thanks :)

If I remember correctly, the Walks of Italy discounts were based on information from the RS books. For example, when you are checking out online, you'll be prompted with a question and you have to look it up in the guidebook to get the code. I had a more current guidebook but I was still able to figure out the code. It was actually kind of fun!

People do not usually post the code because they do not know what the question will be from the tour company. I think with Walks of Italy they will ask you which book you have, then ask you to name a location on page x. So you really need to have A book to get the discount. If you book multiple tours through Walks of Italy you can get a discount through them. We booked three tours through them and got a nice discount on top of the Rick Steves one.

The discounts are a benefit of buying the book. If you don't have the book it isn't fair to get the discount.
The book is pretty valuable even without the discounts - all that extra knowledge might be a good reason to get the book....

The Rome Guy tours give a 5% discount if you enter ITALYMARTHA. I took the Roman Guy's Restricted Areas Colosseum Top Levels tour and it was excellent. The tour guide was very personable and incredibly knowledgeable. The photos from the upper tier came out great.

Walks of Italy had a good sale last Nov. on Black Friday
