Any comments on Praiano?

I'm heading for the Amalfi coast and wonder if it's wise to stay in Praino as far as the location. Is it possible to get to Positano on foot? Or safe? Can you get a boat to other coastal locations from there? Any tips on hotels? Thanks!

By foot, difficult. The road is crowded. I'm not aware of a footpath between the towns. You can get boats to other towns, but it's easier from Positano.
