Hi, am going to visit the Cinque Terre in August and am thinking of including Portovenere in the day trip (we are staying in La Spezia since we have a morning train to catch to Pisa), anyone know about bus service from Portovenere? Found plenty of info of bus going from La Spezia but weird enough couldn't find time table of bus going back to La Spezia, the timetable i found doesn't show La Spezia, anyone could help here?

There is bus service to and from La Spezia and Portovenere. The nearest bus stop to the La Spezia Centrale train station is the Stadio Picco stop. It's about an 12 min walk (Southeast) from the train station. If you are staying at the Hotel Astoria on Roma, you're close to the stop. To see the route on Google Maps, go to Directions and type in La Spezia Centrale Train Station, La Spezia, Italy and Stadio Picco, La Spezia, Italy. The route should display.
