I can't decide whether it is worth it to purchase the pass plus book the secret itineraries tour or if I should just buy the doge's/secret itineraries tour? Here is our situation - we are in venice for two full days and nights. We will visit Accademia and may possibly head to Murano to explore a little. We are not art buffs and are not huge museum people but obviously are interested in exploring the "important" museums. Is the Correr worth a trip for us? and if we head to Murano - is the glass museum something worth visiting? and while i am asking - is murano worth the trip and what would there be for us to do there? thanks!
You say you're not art buffs, not huge museum people, and you're already doing the Accademia. So my guess is that you will have "done your duty", made your bow to the "important" museums, if you do the Accademia.
Having said that, the Correr is probably included if you buy a ticket to the Doge's Palace (it was 2 years ago, but as I recall it was a bit more complicated than this, there are 3 museums, only 2 were covered, I don't remember the details.
And so, if it ends up being free to you, then why not? You're going to be at St Mark's Piazza anyway. First floor has Canova sculptures, which if you haven't been to the Borghese or other Canova venues, makes it worth at least a quick walk thru. You probably can skip the Armory. On the 2nd floor is Italian Renaissance painting, if you've seen the Uffizi collection then maybe you walk quickly through this.
But can you live without it? from what you say about your interests, probably you can (live without it).
