another RomaPass question

Hello:

If I buy my RomaPass at Termini station, do I still need to wait in line at the Colliseum to purchase (or validate) tickets, or do I go straight through somewhere else?

Thanks,

Kay

In our experience, the Roma Pass was not a skip the line type pass. We followed Rick's advice and got the combo Colosseum/Palatine Hill tickets at the Palatine Hill ticket booth (much less crowded), which allows you to bypass the ticket line at the Colosseum (although there may still be a security line). The Roma Pass is actually like a credit card, so I guess they swipe it to keep track of your first two uses and your three day time frame. Now that you have to pay to go into the forum, I suppose the ticket selling arrangement might be different.

No you do not wait in line at the Coliseum once you have the RomaPass. Follow the signs for people that have tickets (they purchased them at the Palatine Hill or Roman Forum) and you will skip the queue.
