Another option to Cinque Terre

Hi, Im deciding not to stay to the overcrowded CT and looking for a very diferent option south of CT on that side of the coast on a beach town. Looking for a sea side town, with beaches and really blue water.
Any recommendations ??

Basicly we will stop by CT spending the day... but spend 3 days in some cool place to replace CT after my visit to Florence and before Naples

Please add month, add transportation.
Castellabate is south of Naples but not far by train.
Look at Castiglione della Pescaia in Tuscany.

The only villages resembling Cinque Terre at all in my opinion are Moneglia, Portovenere, and Tellaro.

I would suggest Viareggio (South of CT). Beautiful beach town and a great promenade with shops/restaurants.
