I want to get 2 ticket to the Colosseum and use RS self-guided tour. I am going to buy a 24-hr. Roma Pass when we get there. We'll be using the 1st free entry fee on another museum, so this would just be a discount. On the coopculture website, I chose a time available for "Col-For-Pal Pren.Ingresso con Roma Pass". ( I assume this is what I want) It shows 4 Euro for the charge. That's the booking fee, I think. When do I pay for the entrance fee? With this purchase, will we avoid the long lines?

Yes, the reservation fee for the 2 of you is €4.
Purchase this by phone if you are using the Rome Pass. I believe they e mail this to you. If you don't receive it in 24 hours, check your spam folder.
To purchase the reduced price ticket go to the Colosseum entrance. Show your Rome Pass & reservation they'll direct you to the Rome Pass ticket line/booth. Show both again to get your ticket. You don't stand in the long line outside, but will need to go thru the security line.
