i have read how to reserve these tickets but am wondering if anyone has booked for end of september or first of oct. i know restoration is supposed to begin in sept. peirrici website says they end in june (if i am guessing correctly) and another site says they "may" go thru sept but i can find nothing definite. i would like to know if its even an option before calling rome. thx!

They did not end in June, I went on the tour August 20. I do not know, however, if they will still be available in September or October. Hope so! Good luck!

i have a reservation for September 8th. You should try calling them and request your date and see what happens.

I don't think the tours are available on the website so you should call to book your tour. Call as soon as you can. Donna

From various sources I have read, it should be open through the end of September. I booked an underground tour for 9/24. check out:

If you go to the link above, click on the "step by step instructions..."; her instructions are right on. Except that she says you do not pay in advance. the credit card I wanted to use for the reservation would not work so I gave a debit card #v instead and indeed was charged (the amount was correct so it was fine). good luck!

The official sites say the underground tour should run through the end of October. As far as I know this has not changed. Just call to make the reservation. It's very easy and quick. Let them know if you're using a romapass for entry or if you need to book entry tickets in addition to the tour. Donna
