another clothes question!

Are denim and open-toed shoes (flip flops) ok in places of worship in Italy? Just make sure knees and shoulders are covered? Is there a similar dress code for museums?
Thanks!

Just don't go flipping over the ticket tables charging admission to many of the churches. Jesus might have done that but you won't be allowed to. (^_^)

Michael,

I must tell you, the visual you just painted of "flipping" gave me a great laugh!

Cheers

There's a chance you'll get in no matter what you wear. In June I watched a guard let a pair of spaghetti-strapped shoulders into Saint Peter's. Maybe he was distracted by her pretty face and the cleavage straining to spill out in front.

I'm sure the cleavage was presented in the most respectful and religious way possible. LOL.
