I'm leaving for my summer vacation in a few weeks and just noticed that the day I picked to do a day trip to Genoa from Milan is June 2nd. Has anyone been in Genoa on the Anniversary of the Republic? It looks like most state museums say they'll be open, but I was just curious if anyone had personal experience of how much the holiday affects tourism in the city.
