We will be celebrating our 1st anniversary while traveling in Rome and are looking for a good restaurant suggestion. Not super expensive, but a nice, romantic place (with great food, of course!).

One possibility is Il Drappo, http://www.ildrappo.it/, which actually serves Sardinian food (lots of seafood). Very cozy and romantic inside, though it was such a beautiful night that we ended up eating outside. The food was very good, as was the service.

Melissa, Congrats on your anniversary. I know I'll probably take some flak for this but I would suggest Piazza Novana for a romantic setting. I know it,s touristy but there's something about eating and having a Bernini fountain in front of you. We ate there a couple of weeks ago and loved it. Bob
