I suppose this is a tall order, but I'm looking for resources for my Android tablet and phone that will serve as a guide to the art, artists and churches of Venice, Florence. and Rome. I've downloaded a ton of apps but none seem to be what I need.
I'd like to learn about the artists, who they were and what their important works were. I'd also like to be able to enter the name of a location (church, site) and get back information about the art within.
I have located a couple of books, but I don't really want to carry them with me. Preferable to have an electronic book or better an app that allow searching.
Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks so much for your help!
