Andrea Bocelli Lajatico

I am very fortunate to have tickets to Andrea Bocelli on 4 August. Any recommendations on accommodations close to the concert? I will be driving so I'm interested in staying a few nights. Also any tips on seats? I'm in Executive A3. I've read to bring cushion? Any other tips greatly appreciated!!!

Accommodations, that could be a problem if you want to be close. I have been many times. Lajatico is itself very small (about 1,000 people) and there are apartments there, but at the time around the concert it is packed. Most people are repeat visitors, AB fan club members, and therefore usually book their stay from one year to the next. Last year we booked our apartment in town in November or December before the concert (2013 for 2014 concert) and actually had the apartment for this year booked at that time (July 2014 for 2015), but we were unable to go for health reasons. My only suggestion would be to google apartments in Lajatico, and see what you can find, it may give you suggestions for near by places. As for the concert, you may want to take a jacket, or light blanket as it can get pretty chilly as the night progresses. You will have to let me know how it goes, and take a lot of pics. If you need any further info, PM me and I will try to help you. I am sad to not be able to attend this year. Good luck on your great adventure of a year in Italy. Wish that I could do that, but those days are past for me, with age constrants.
