Amalfi Coast Dining

Has anyone been along the Amalfi Coast (Sorrento, Positano, Minori, Maiori) in mid-May and had difficulty finding open tables at restaurants for dinner? We are making reservations at certain restaurants we definitely want to target but also don't want to structure our time too much by reserving tables for each night of our 2-week trip there. We have been there in peak season over the summer but May is on the fringe and is why we're asking.

Thank you in advance!

I think it's way to early for anything other than Michelin star places.
I reserved a good restaurant in Maiori the day before. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to exist 18 months later.

May is crazy crowded now- there is no spring or fall shoulder season anymore in the AC.
FYI- you may get more responses if you correct the spelling.
Have a great trip!

You probably already know where you want to eat, but if not, consider going to Cetara one night for dinner..I think that small town has some of the best restaurants along that coastline.... This is one of my favorites; right now they are closed for winter break but you can book now for May.

I recently had one of the best meals in forever at Da Bob Cook Fish (Sorrento).

And if you're doing a search and not getting hits... it's spelled "Amalfi".

Never booked a restaurant so far in advance, anywhere, even Florence or Rome or Venice, which are way more crowded. Just call or walk there in the morning or the day before.
