What is the easiest way for two people to get from Amalfi Town to Naples Airport? Do we have to get to Sorrento or can we leave from Amalfi directly to Naples Airport?

I think the easiest way to get from Amalfi Town to Naples Airport is by taxi or shuttle service. It will cost you 150E or more. The lower cost alternative is to take the Sita bus to Sorrento and change to Curreri Viaggi bus to Naples Airport. Check out curreirviaggi.it. Their shuttle service might cover Amalfi Town.

Ask your hotel about a private driver. They may be able to set you up at a better price than you'd find yourself. If you're there in season, you could also take a ferry from Amalfi to Naples' Beverello port, then a shuttle bus from there to the airport.
