amalfi to sorrento by ferry

I would like to travel from Amalfi to Sorrrento on the 5pm ferry. I understand that it is the last ferry of the day. How often does bad weather cancel this trip? If it is cancelled, how late does the SITA bus run from Amalfi to Sorrento?
