We are planning to take a tour of the Amalfi Coast (from Naples) and would like to know on which day of the week there would be less traffic -- either Saturday or Sunday? Does it make a difference? Just trying to think like a local.

Weekends will be busy, but time of year can affect crowds. When will you be there?

Well, in general there are fewer public bus routes on Sunday if you want to take that into account....

FYI to others: Have actually contacted several tour companies and they have said Saturday will be much better for traffic than Sunday. We only have those two days to choose from so will go with Saturday. Thanks for your help.
