My fiance and I are booking hotels for our honeymoon in the Amalfi Coast - we are staying in Sorrento for 5 nights, another town on the coast for 4 nights, and then 3 nights in Rome. (This will be our 3rd visit to Rome, so we're just doing a quick stop there.) My question that I'd like your feedback on is about the middle city. We would love to stay in a place where we can relax, have access to a beach or pool, go on a hike or two, and spend time in Ravello and Paestum. With all of these things we'd like to do, we thought it might be best to stay in Amalfi. However, we have found some great looking hotels in Praiano. Would Praianobe a good spot to stay, or would it be best to stay in a larger town like Amalfi? Are there any other places that might be good to stay? Thank you for your help!

Molly, if you would consider spending a night or two in Paestum, there's a nice beach in addition to the temple ruins and museum. I would recommend Hotel Poseidonia al Mare (not confused with Poseidon camping), a good hotel near the beach, about 1km from the ruins. The hotel staff will loan you bikes, meet you at the train station, and do everything they can to make your stay memorable. They're listed at booking.com and perhaps venere.com as well, if you want to see photos and description. There's also a mozzarella factory nearby.
