We are planning to stay along the coast for a week in September. We have rented several apartments across Europe and therefore we have searched the usual sites for rentals and even some obscure ones!. However just wondering if anyone has a place they would like to share the info on? Our wish list would include at minimum , 1 bedroom/1 bathroom with balcony, Sea view, close to small town or within walkable distance and anyplace along the coast from Sorrento to Salerno Budget around 50-125 euro/night.

We are familiar with most of the popular search engines for vacation rentals.
What we are looking for specifically, is if anyone has found a hidden gem among the 1000's of rentals. We know what it's like to find a house/villa/apartment that is spectacular and not well known. Just wondering if anyone has found this on the Amalfi Coast.

Visted AC for one week in February 2016 and stayed at Auditorum Rooms B&B in Ravello. Marco and Pasquale are brothers who own this marvelous B&B. Each room has a balcony overlooking the sea. Breakfast was included and was delicious. Book directly with them at www.auditoriumrooms.com for best prices. Easy 10 minute stroll to the SITA bus stop in Ravello. 25 minute ride down the hill to Amalfi where you can connect to other SITA busses to Salerno or Sorrento and points in between.

Did you end up finding an apartment? We are going to Amalfi in early September, and with food allergies, I need an apartment and kitchen, so would love to hear what you've found.

We have friends who recommended a website called "Summer in Italy" with properties on the Amalfi Coast.
