Amalfi coast in late April

Is the last week of April a good time to visit the Amalfi coast? For those who have been there in April, what kind of temperatures and rainfall did you experience? I read that Easter is considered the start of the tourist season, so as long as you go after that, things will be open. It appeals to us more than May because crowds may be lower, temperatures cooler. But I'd rather have crowds and heat than rain.

We were in Sorrento for four days in the middle of April last spring. Weather was wonderful. A little cool at night, warmer in the day. When we were on boats we needed a windbreaker. Water can be higher in spring, which can present a problem for entering the Blue Grotto on Capri. We got in on our day there, but it had been closed the two previous days. Everywhere was busy but not swamped. I think April is perfect.
