Hi..wow do I feel overwhelmed! :(
We are going to the Amalfi coast area and have 6 nights/7 days, with one of those nights in Capri.
**I'm trying to understand what the best central place would be to stay? I'm super interested in being able to get around fairly easy with access to public transport to get to Positano, Capri, Amalfi, Sorrento.I would also be most grateful for an idea of an itinerary!
Background: early 50's couple in moderate shape. We are not hard core tourists and love to hang out and eat/walk/rest too. That said my husband is not one to hang out on a beach for long without some kind of activity. We love to walk and explore, just don't love churches or museums!
I've heard Sorrento but then someone said it would take 1.5 hours to get to positano which does not sound great by any stretch! Is that normal to take that long to get from town to town??
Also, if we are flying into Rome, any idea how much a car service would be to get to amalfi coast?? Thanks in advance!!
