Amalfi Coast...If anyone could help that would be great

Hello everyone

I'm turning 50 in june and planning a trip to the Amalfi Coast 5-15 to celebrate. My first stop will be in Sorrento staying at Hotel Mary. I've read good reviews but if anyone can chime in on their stay there, if you have, that would be great. My husband and I will be there 5-9th. Were moving closer to the coast from the 9th -13. I was considering Hotel Cetus as I read good reviews about that Hotel as well. We REALLY want to find an Aparthotel but I get SOOO nervous reading the reviews. This is my 50th and I REALLY want it to be pleasant, memorable and enjoyable, if anyone knows of a really good Aparthotel with a balcony and an amazing view in a neighboring city outside of Amalfi and Positano I would LOVE some ideas. I'm told you take a risk staying in airbnbs so hotels or Aparthotels are a better option. I'm WIDE open to thoughts and suggestions. Thr last 2 nights I would like to stay closer to Naples, to get to the airport quicker when we depart.but was told not to stay in Naples. Any ideas of a nice place to stay to end out final 2 days?

Who told you not to stay in Naples? There are some pretty interesting things to see there, and it’s ten minutes from the airport, so that is where I would stay for at least the last night. Trim a night off if you hate cities, but use your own intuition after reading up on Naples, not based on my or anyone else’s opinion.
I didn’t stay at Hotel Cetus, but I enjoyed my stay in Cetara very much. We stayed at the Il Glicine b&b but it’s a bit of a walk uphill, not on the sea like Cetus.

In my opinion Naples is not the high point of a visit to this area. Still, there is a great museum there.

Pompeii and/or Herculaneum
Sorrento
Capri
The Amalfi Coast

There are all great. We stayed in Sorrento the first time, then at the Amalfi Coast the second time.
